Westfields bowed out of the Hellenic Wiseman Floodlit Cup 1st Round with a 5-3 home defeat by in form Worcester City at allpay.park last night.

Westfields manager Phil Glover made wholesome changes following Westfields 3-2 league defeat at Slimbridge, but Westfields surrendered a 3-2 lead against Worcester to allow their visitors to go through to the next round. Elliott Hartley gave Worcester a 3rd minute lead only for Cam Davies to put Westfields level, then Liam Lockett restored the Worcester lead only to see Archie Muirhead pull Westfields level then Muirhead put Westfields 3-2 ahead before the break.

After the interval Hartley equalised in the 55th minute for Worcester then Worcester City went in front with a goal by former Westfields striker Jamie Insall before Kyle Belmonte made the tie safe for Worcester City with an 89th minute goal to put them safely through to the next round.
