Tuffley Rovers 2 – Chambers 2

Westfields 2- Stoneman, Summers

Westfields came back from being 2-0 down at Tuffley Rovers to earn a 2-2 Draw and a point in the Hellenic League Premier Division game at Gloucester last night.

Westfields trailed after 18 minutes when Tuffley striker Karnell Chambers scored twice early on to give the home side a great start.

However Westfields gradually got into their stride and Dan Stoneman fired a great drive to reduce the scoreline before the interval.

After the break Westfields created several chances as both Harrison Summers and Archie Muirhead had good opportunities to put Westfields level but chances slipped away before Harrison Summers beat Billy Thomas with a low shot which found the net off the far post to put Westfields level.

Westfields then pushed forward and Dan Stoneman, Zac Powell and Archie Muirhead all saw efforts well saved by Billy Thomas in the Tuffley goal then the Tuffley goal led a charmed life as Westfields did everything but score as Tuffley were glad to hear the final whistle.

This Saturday Westfields play their last home league game of the season when promotion hopefuls Highworth Town visit allpay.park for the first time  in a bid to maintain their promotion push kick off 3pm.
