Westfields recovered from an early set back to win 4-1 away at Shortwood United last night, when they gave a polished team performance to earn a quarter final home tie with Worcester City next Tuesday 27 Feb at Allpay.park.

Shortwood took a 2nd minute lead with a cracking 25 yard thunderbolt but Westfields clawed their way back to draw level through an Isaac Richards corner which sailed into the top corner of the net.

Westfields then defended well before the break with Joel Edwards and Paul Hurrell both strong on their return to the team after injury.

After the break Westfields took control and Zac Powell put them ahead and Jac Evans curled a free kick in from 25 yards before Oli Barnes scored the 4th after great work by Isaac Richards as Westfields ran out comfortable Winners with a 4-1 victory over Shortwood United.

Westfields now meet Worcester City twice being at home this Saturday at allpay.park in the league then again Tuesday night in the quarter final of the league Cup 7-45 again at allpay.park.
