Westfields were edged out of a 7 goal thriller last night in a Hellenic League Premier Div match when the lost 4-3 away at Cinderford Town.

Ex Merthyr Tydfil striker Lewis Powell hit all 4 goals for the Forresters but Westfields were always in the game with goals from Adam Wakely, Matt MacDonald and Dan Stoneman.

With the score at 2-2 at the break Westfields put up a superb hard working 2nd half performance but were beaten by Cinderford 4 goal hero Lewis Powell who scored at vital times.

Westfields go to Wantage Town on Saturday kick off 3 pm
