Westfields 11 – Brooks 3, Stoneman 6, Cox, Muirhead

Westfields turned on a scintillating display of football in their Hellenic League Premier Division game Away at Brimscombe and Thrupp when they extended their unbeaten run to six game with an 11 goal drubbing of the Stroud based side.

It was Westfields most highest scoring achievement at FA Step 5 level and it was a remarkable second half display as, after leading 2-0 at the break through a Ben Brooks brace, Brooks went on to get his hat trick then experienced winger Dan Stoneman grabbed a double hat trick including 2 superb free kicks, and a Cawley Cox header and a superb finish by Archie Muirhead completed the second half misery for Brimscombe and Thrupp who had no answer to Westfields free flowing attacking football as Westfields ran out convincing 11-0 winners for an amazing victory.

Westfields face a busy week with a home match Tuesday v Sporting Inkberrow then Saturday Westfields travel to Highworth Town.
