Westfields extended their Hellenic League unbeaten run to 5 games with a 2-2 Draw at Worcester Raiders last night.

Westfields took an early lead through Archie Muirhead and then a series of blinding saves by Westfields teenage keeper Shay Sterry kept the Raiders at bay until just before the interval when the Sixways club drew level.

After the break leading goalscorer Cawley Cox put Westfields back in front to lead 2-1 but then Westfields were forced to defend as Raiders hit back for a point with an 84th minute equaliser.

Westfields finished with 10 men after winger Dan Stoneman was dismissed for receiving 2 yellow cards, and will miss Westfields next home game on Tuesday 24 September against league newcomers Sporting Inkberrow.

On Saturday Westfields go to Brimscombe and Thrupp Kick off 3pm.
