𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐔𝐩 -𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐅𝐂

It’s the longest journey of the season for #Fields this Saturday as we make the 160 round mile trip to Oxfordshire, to face Wantage Town FC.

Our last visit to Wantage came back in March of last season where we won 2-1, with goals coming from Sean Powell and Adam Wakley! On Tuesday night we unfortunately lost 4-3 to Cinderford Town AFC, despite the lads showing real character and a fighting spirit we couldn’t find a 4th goal to take a point from the game! Matt McDonald was awarded Man Of The Match for his outstanding performance and contribution to the team.

The hosts on Saturday, Wantage haven’t had a the best of starts to the season. 11 games played 11 defeats and only scoring 7 goals, this is their second league campaign in this division. Admission is  £8 Adults/£5 Concessions, the postcode is OX12 8DW, Alfredian Park, the bar and kitchen will be open.
