𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐔𝐩 – 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐅𝐂

Saturday afternoon will see us return to league action after a two week break, we travel to Thornbury Town looking to get back to winning ways.

Last weeks game against Slimbridge AFC was postponed due to a frozen pitch, despite the best efforts of Groundsman Joe Davies in the week our fixture against Slimbridge AFC was called off. The last meeting between the two sides came back in September where we ran out 3-2 winners with goals coming from Sean Powell, Dan Stoneman and Sam Griffiths!

The host on Saturday currently sit 18th in the league standings, just a point outside the relegation zone. Their last win came against Worcester Raiders at sixways stadium in a result which nobody could’ve possibly expected! So they’ll be looking to get another three points.  This will also be Thornbury’s first home game is eight matches and since October 14th where they were heavily beaten by Pershore Town FC.
