We spoke to manager Phil Glover on Andyβs arrival and what he brings to the squad!
βWith the injuries and Suspensions we have atm we needed to act fast and bring a defender in.
The fact that a defender of βSwansβ ability and experience was available was ideal and ticked all the boxes. He has played Southern league all his career with the likes ofΒ Merthyr, Yate, Cirencester, Shortwood, Cinderford and Evesham Utd!β
βHe is a big lad ,a natural leader and is a composed defender who is really comfortable with the ball at he feet, that will suit the way we like to play. He has been around the team at the weekend and already knows a few of the lads from playing with them in the southern league.β
βThere were clubs at step 3 & 4 after his signature so itβs really positive for the club we have him on board.β
