Worcester Raiders 3 – Murphy, Olaloko, Collins

Westfields brought the curtain down on the season with a disappointing 3-0 home defeat to Worcester Raiders who ran out comfortable winners in the last game of the season at allpay.park.

Westfields were 2-0 down in the first 10 minutes as Worcester Raiders made a sensational start as Jordan Murphy then Emmanuel Olaloko scored from crosses to give the visitors a terrific start.

Westfields gradually got into their stride and Archie Muirhead and Dan Stoneman both looked impressive on the flanks but Muirhead fired wide just before the interval.

After the break Westfields pushed forward but the big Worcester defence stood strong and it was Worcester Raiders substitutes who impressed and Jake Collins put the game beyond Westfields when he broke free and unleashed a powerful shot to beat Blackburn and give Worcester Raiders a comfortable 3-0 away win and finish the season just a place outside the play off spot.

For Westfields they finish in 13 position a place above local rivals Hereford Pegasus.
