Westfields 3 – Bevan, Heffernan, Powell

Westfields had a comfortable passage through to the 3rd round of the Hellenic Wiseman Floodlit cup when they beat visiting Southam 3-0 at allpay.park.

Westfields gave a hard working display in which Arwyn Walby the teenage midfielder gave a polished performance.

Westfields took an early lead through Jake Bevan then Drew Heffernan scored to give Westfields a 2-0 interval lead.

After the break Southam came more into the game but found Westfields defence in good form.

Westfields put the cup tie out of the reach of the Warwickshire visitors when Zac Powell score a 3rd Westfields goal when he tucked away a Dan Stoneman cross late in the game to put Westfields through to the 3rd Round.

On Saturday Westfields are home to Lydney Town in the Hellenic  League Premier Division 3pm at allpay.park.
