Westfields were beaten for the second consecutive home Hellenic League game when they lost 2-1 at allpay.park to visiting Royal Wootton Bassett Town who completed a Hellenic League Premier Division double over Westfields.

Westfields did not help themselves as Ben Brooks missed a second half penalty which would have put Westfields level.

Alfie Presley had given the visitors a 1-0 interval lead but after the break Mason Godsall put Westfields level with a spectacular long range effort.

However the scores only remained level a short while as the visitors regained the lead when Daniel Grieve put Royal Wootton Bassett back in front.

Westfields substitute Ben Brooks then missed a great chance to put Westfields level when he failed to score from the penalty spot and the visitors went on to record a 2-1 away win.

After the game full back George Clark was presented with the Westfields supporters player of the year award.
