It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Nick Morgan from his role as 1st Team Manager.
Nick joined the club in November 2023 during a particularly challenging period and played a crucial role in assisting the newly appointed Scott Russell. Together, they rebuilt a squad, finishing the Hellenic League season on a high note.
At the start of the current season, Nick assumed a joint managerial position before taking on full responsibility as 1st Team Manager following Scott’s departure.
His tenure has seen him lead the club to two cup finals. While we faced heartbreak in both finals—losing on penalties to AFC Kempsey in the HFA County Cup and 5-3 on aggregate to Cirencester Town FC in the Wiseman Lighting Cup.
Nick’s dedication, hard work, and collaborative spirit, along with the invaluable contributions of his coach Danny Elliot and assistant Darren Jones has given the club a good platform to move forward into the 25-26 season.
Nick is not only a highly respected manager but also a genuinely admired individual who will be deeply missed by all at the #Fields.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nick for everything he has done for the club and wish him every success in his future, he will always be a part of our club.
