Westfields paid the price for missed chances when they were guilty of wasting first half opportunities to have built up a good lead before Westfields teenage keeper Shay Sterry gifted Longlevens a 1-0 half time lead when he scuffed a clearence to Shiyak Sutherland who had the easiest of tasks to give Longlevens a shock lead in the 40th minute in a Hellenic League Premier Division game at allpay.park tonight.

Earlier Zac Powell, Cawley Cox and Dan Stoneman had all great goalscoring opportunities to have put Westfields comfortably in front.

After the break Cam Davies headed against the Longlevens post then Ben Brookes and Mason Godsall had great chances before Westfields got their deserved equaliser when Harrison Summers put over a great cross and Cawley Cox headed home at the far post with 15 minutes left to play.

Westfields continued to dominate the game but good approach work was spoilt by wasteful finishing and despite a hard working display Westfields finished with a point when it should have been 3 from a game they should have won comfortably.

On Saturday Westfields visit promotion favourites Corsham Town Kick off 3pm.
